I am not a November-1st-Christmas-tree-up type of gal. In fact I like to enjoy the no clutter between holidays. But that doesn’t mean decorating is not on my mind! In the midst of my Christmas shopping I spotted some of the cutest decor, so I wanted to share some of my favorites!
We usually put the tree up some time in the weekend after Thanksgiving, although my oldest daughter keeps asking if we can put it up sooner, so who knows if that will change. I am going to try to stay strong though – I don’t want to get sick of looking at the decor and I think two months of Christmas decor will do just that! Although I get more and more excited each year about all the cute decor and the way all the sparkle and shine lights up my kids’ eyes!
Last year I got a smaller tree for our living room and kept it to a more neutral/pink theme. Downstairs we do more traditional Christmas theme with all of our old ornaments and stockings and that’s where Santa comes. I also love to put a cute tree by the girls’ rooms that they can decorate how they want – usually pink!
