Over the weekend we decided to head out to Amana, Iowa to celebrate Oktoberfest! We haven’t been back for Oktoberfest in years, and it was just as much fun as it was the last time! If you’re in Iowa/the midwest and you’ve never been to the Amanas, you HAVE to go – especially fall or wintertime – it’s like a movie set! So festive and fun!
These steins have been taking up a whole shelf in our cupboard since we moved in to our house, but ya know, it was worth it to be able to get the full effect of Oktoberfest by drinking out of them! When we got there, they had sold out of this years’ steins, so I was happy we brought our own!
We listened to a 70s and 80s cover band for a couple hours while the girls danced and it was a gorgeous fall night. I’m so glad we have fun events like this so close to home!
