One thing I’ve made sure to make a top priority since being in quarantine is my skincare. Since I’m not wearing makeup nearly as much as I used to, now is the time to really perfect my routine. My husband is always making fun of me for my “potions and elixirs” on my side of the bathroom, ha!

My routine in the morning is a light wipe with Trader Joe’s Rose Water Facial Toner (not pictured) on a pad. Then once dry I follow up with Sunday Riley C.E.O Glow 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum and C.E.O Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil. I feel like this combination really wakes my face up for the day! (I’ve had quite a bit of sun damage over the years and I’ve used a few different products, but I feel like this combo has zapped it up the quickest.) Then I do a couple swipes of the Tula Rose Glow and Get It eye balm to brighten my tired mom eyes. (This stuff + the C.E.O Glow Face Oil are nice to put on as needed throughout the day for a midday pickup!) And I will ALWAYS now follow up with sunscreen if I’m venturing outside! I also have some Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in my coffee every morning and I have seen a huge difference in my skin, hair and nails! I was nervous to try the unflavored kind because I’ve heard it tastes like broth, but I have not experienced that and it dissolves really well!

At night I like to use the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water on a pad. I’m currently using their new Vitamin C brightening option, but I’ve used and like them all! It’s incredible how clean my face feels after using a micellar water. Then once my face is dry I follow up with the Sunday Riley Good Genes – you guys, this stuff is the holy grail. Even after one use I was so amazed with how different my skin looked! My pores are almost non-existent. The directions say you can follow up with a moisturizer, but I don’t have to. This stuff alone is good enough for me. If there was one thing I’d say to buy from this list it’s the Good Genes! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go without it!

I’m currently trying out night eye creams – I’ve never really found one that I absolutely love, so that’s why I didn’t share one above. Right now I’m using Estēe Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex. It is what it is – an eye cream – but I haven’t noticed any significant difference in bags or fine lines. I’m pretty sure I’m going to need to call in the big guys for that – Botox and fillers! Then a couple swipes of the Rodan+Fields Lash Boost – I know there are differing opinions on this stuff, but I’ve been using it for years and I love it. Plus an old friend of mine sells it, and I love to support that! Lastly I load up on the Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips – especially during the winter, this stuff is essential in helping keep my lips moisturized and plumped!

For reference, I have normal skin. My skincare routine is always evolving, especially between different seasons. And I am definitely no expert! But this combo is definitely my favorite right now! I plan to add some sort of retinol to my routine once I’m done breastfeeding, which I know will be a good addition! Let me know if you have any holy grail items you absolutely love in the comments below! Thanks for reading! XO – S
