It has been… a week. Actually it has been TEN whole weeks since I’ve gone anywhere and I’m officially over it. Emma has had a fever off and on all week and not only is it nearly impossible to get ahold of her doctor, I’m also not allowed to bring her in anywhere when she has a fever. I’m sure it’s just teething, but I would love to rule out an ear infection or anything else. We have been in the clear today so I’m really hoping we get through this weekend fever-free. She’s been super cranky and drooling, so I’m sure it’s just teething, and thankfully this is not my first rodeo or I’d be even more freaked out!
Memorial Day weekend totally snuck up on me, and even though things are opening back up around here, we don’t have any fun plans. It’s supposed to storm all weekend, so I’ll just be cleaning my house for the 21223432th time this quarantine! With two kids and a dog, it’s a never ending battle!
Sadly my content creation has taken a dip lately. I am just kind of in a rut. Thankfully I am in a routine with the kids at home, but I just have not been motivated to really take care of myself, which is frustrating and definitely affecting me physically. My kids are needy, my house is always a mess, and I don’t know if it’s the weather or the isolation or a combination of both bringing me down. Please tell me I’m not alone! I’m just really ready to get back to some sort of normalcy. I’m praying that the re-opening of restaurants and other places does not cause a spike in cases because mama needs a Target run or happy hour with the girls STAT!
