I have to admit, I haven’t done any “poses” for a blog post in a while. Like I’ve said several times before, I am not a model, and when you’re husband is simultaneously taking photos and caddle prodding you to get done with these pics, it can be a little awkward! 😉 SO here are my awkward, 25 week pregnant poses for you all to enjoy!

In all honesty, I just wanted to share this dress with all you expectant mamas out there. I’ve always been a fan of striped maxi dresses, but sometimes stripes can be scary – especially when you’re already bigger than you’re used to. But despite the stripes, it is actually SUPER flattering because the fabric is nice and thick and just kind of hugs in the right spots. And despite the thick fabric, I wore it to the Cedar Rapid’s Farmer’s Market on an 88 degree morning and I wasn’t painfully hot. Pinkblush was kind enough to gift me this dress, and I’m just so impressed with the quality. It comes in six different colors (black – shown, grey, mint green, navy, pink and red), so it could be worn for any occassion! I might have to get pink because it’s so cute and will go with the theme of my daughter’s second birthday party I’m planning for October (more to come on that!)

My first pregnancy I didn’t need to wear many maternity clothes, which was nice. I thought I’d get away with that this time around, but that has definitely NOT been the case. It’s not that non-maternity clothes don’t fit, it’s just that they’re not nearly as comfortable. So I’ve invested in a few pieces that can be worn different ways or that I won’t mind wearing over and over again – and I feel like this dress I will definitely get a lot of wear out of! I can’t wait to pack it for our vacation in September!
