new year’s day look with romwe

sweater c/o | jeans | purse, (old) love this one here | shoes | earrings | bracelet
Happy New Year! Who else LOVES the start of a new year? I like to take this day to look back on my previous year and make goals for the next 365 days. 2016 was a hectic year, with lots of little trips for the first half of the year and then moving the second half of the year. I’m looking forward to a more mellow 2017, and I’m excited to accomplish a couple goals I have for myself, like possibly running a half marathon with my best friend and taking more risks – specifically in the fashion department!

This sweater is perfect for New Year’s Day. It’s comfy and soft and while it appears to be thick, it’s not too hot and is pretty lightweight. Plus it is so versatile – it can be layered over a button up top, under a jean jacket, over a dress or paired with a skirt, but I especially love it with a good pair of skinnies and the cutest pink lace up pumps (that I got on super sale!) Not only is this sweater one of the coziest in my closet, it’s a great price at less than $20! And the neutral color and classic fit will for sure make it a staple in my closet.
I hope you guys have a happy and healthy new year, and as always thanks for reading! XO
