I’m finally getting around to my birthday post – over a month later. October was a crazy month for me! Now we are 20 days into November and I don’t foresee it getting any less crazy with the holidays coming up! It’s so hard to believe Thanksgiving is just 4 days away!

I had a great time celebrating my 33rd birthday with one of my bests in town from Dallas and my husband able to get free from work for a day to celebrate. We went to Des Moines and stayed and gambled at Prairie Meadows Casino and Hotel, and took The Big Yellow Bike around downtown Des Moines – if you’ve never done a pedal tavern before I highly suggest it! We had brunch at the buffet the morning of my birthday (because what’s better than a breakfast buffet after a night of drinking?!) and I left the casino with $80 extra in my pocket – I call that a win! Then I finished the weekend off in this amazing floral romper at dinner with the hubs and my mama.
